Question of Roy Halladay

With the trade deadline approaching, very quickly, the main topic of discussion seems to be Roy Halladay. There is with no doubt that he is one of the best current major league pictures out there. But who should pick him up is the question that has been flooding the internet like crazy. Well, being a Yankee fan--don't beat up on me too hard-- I would like nothing else than to see the Doc end up in the NL. He is too pricey for the Yankees having to give up both Joba and Hughes and God only knows who else they would want. And most of all he is too dangerous to compete in the same league in which he seems to always be a thorn in the Yankees side and I would take my chances in seeing him in the World Series, if we (Yankees) even get there.

If he does end up in the NL I believe the Phillies will grab him. Coming off an impressive, successful year they are willing to do anything, it seems like, to get a chance for a repeat. I can't say I don't blame them. But my quesiton is, for any team, is he really worth it? Although his health has never been a huge problem, is the risk of losing so much of your young talent worth it? We will see I guess and I am looking forward to anybody who cares to comment on the situation. Where do you think he will end up and do you think it is worth the price? Take care all and enjoy today's games!
